Building Bridges

In August 2020 I developed and delivered Building Bridges a project working with infrastructure company Balfour Beatty to design a series of bold and vibrant banners to be put in front of the hoardings of one of their sites on regents street in Leeds city centre.

 

For this I worked with students from Leeds City College to co-design the banners followed by a consultation session with members from the deaf and blind society to confirm colours and designs making sure they were suitable in the public realm. We then installed over 30 Banners across the site, improving visual aesthetics in the area while the work goes on, as well as raising more awareness on the improvements the new bridge will bring to the local area.
